SHOWCASE takes place at the University of Ulster, Magee Campus on Thursday, September 16th. We’ll be based in the newly renovated MF building and wifi will be available.
Bus From Belfast and Newry
We’re happy to announce that there will be a bus running from Newry and Belfast to Derry for the conference.
Here’s the details:
- Departs Newry 6am - from the car park opposite the Courthouse
- Leaves Belfast 7am - from outside the Marquis Building at 89-91 Adelaide St
- Leaves from Derry approximately 7pm
Price is £10 return which must be paid in advance to Martin Gilchrist (and massive thanks to Martin for helping to organise this). Seats are limited so please book yours now.
NB: If you would like to be picked up en route (Castledawson Roundabout etc…) please get in touch before booking your ticket.
Accommodation
If you’re travelling to Derry the night before or fancy hanging around afterwards, we’ll be posting details of accommodation options here shortly.
Schedule
A detailed schedule will be made available to all attendees in advance of the event but here’s the rough outline for the day.
9-9:45am: Registration and networking
9:45-10:45: Plenary session: Welcome address and keynote
10:45-1230: Demonstration Stream begins + First Workshop
12:30-1:30: Lunch
1:30-5:30: Demonstration Stream + Workshops
5:30: Main conference close
6-8pm: Additional technical workshop session
There’ll be plenty of breaks and tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.
