SHOWCASE: Mobile, Cloud and Web Apps, September 2010

Our first SHOWCASE event saw over 300 entrepreneurs, academics and technology professionals descend on the University of Ulster campus in Derry, N. Ireland. 22 startups showcased their latest projects live in back-to-back presentations which lasted the whole day. For those more interested in what the big guys were up to we had workshops and presentations from Microsoft and Dell + a dedicated creative industries session featuring some of the fastest growing digital media companies in the region.

SHOWCASEat the Foyle Film Festival, November 2010
Presented in association with the Foyle Film Festival, Creative ARC and Digital Derry

Presented as part of the well-established Foyle Film Festival, Showcase focused on the Future of Moving Image Media, taking a look at the exciting spaces where broadcast and film meet web and mobile technologies. Senior commissioning editor for Channel4, Adam Gee, provided the keynote address alongside 15+ contributions from startup companies, indy film producers and award winning producers from the likes of Maverick TV, 360 Production and Bryncoed.
